At LEA Professional, we are committed to environmental sustainability and holding ourselves and our partners, customers, and friends accountable. We strive to minimize our impact on the global environment with every decision we make as a business. To accomplish this, we actively scrutinized every decision while designing and constructing our Connect Series amplifier family. We aim to ensure that we not only limit our own impact on the environment but also provide our customers with the tools to limit their personal impact as well.
There are three pillars of action that drive our commitment to environmental sustainability. We look to these pillars to guide us through the uncharted waters of our bold goals and innovative ideas:

For example, our Browser-Based Web UI empowers users to Know More about the performance of their amps and systems. We hope that they can understand their impact and cut down on wasteful operations. This will ultimately optimize the performance of their systems while eliminating wasted energy consumption. Also, we Use Less materials by opting for digitally hosted user manuals. We’ve also automated online services such as ordering, training, and support. Lastly, we strive to Be Thoughtful whenever we approach new opportunities and projects. For example, our 100% recyclable Connect Series box design. We strive to make deliberate decisions that support our sustainability goals.

OUR BOX
Our box is designed with 100% recyclable corrugated cardboard. Even the typical foam amp holders have been replaced with specially designed cardboard alternatives.

Our user manual and other documents are hosted digitally to improve the user experience and cut back on unnecessary waste.
LEA Professional's Headquarters - LEED Certification
The LEA Professional headquarters is literally a recycled building! Based in South Bend, Indiana U.S.A., the once massive Studebaker automotive factory has been reimagined. The now purpose-built technology center has been designed to exceed LEED Platinum standards. Our Engineering labs and work areas were also intentionally designed to limit environmental impact. The furniture and flooring use environmentally friendly recycled materials and incorporate natural lighting.

Steelcase is a 100-year-old company that creates products for the workplace, schools, and healthcare environments. Their sustainability philosophies run deep through their products and company culture. They boast hundreds of quality and sustainability certified products. We feature their recycled materials furniture throughout our office space.
Zollner Electronics is a leading manufacturer in technology, automotive and aerospace industries among others. Their facilities undergo strict sustainability practices that have earned them ISO Certifications for Environmental Management Systems and Energy Management Systems. Their proactive approach to sustainability is a great fit for manufacturing our Connect Series amplifiers. We regularly audit the manufacturing process to ensure our environmental impact is minimal.

The amplifier itself is fully ROHS compliant and does not include any lead or other harmful chemicals known to harm the environment.
The Connect Series amplifier is extremely efficient when being used. During normal use, the amplifier averages over 90% efficiency meaning less than 10% of the AC power dissipates into heat. At idle, the amplifier draws very little power when compared to traditional amplifiers. When powered on with no signal sent to the amplifier, it will automatically go into Standby Mode reducing the AC power draw even further. Another unique feature of the amplifier allows control and monitoring without AC mains being powered on through a PoE network. If you are controlling your amplifiers from an external source, you can remotely power on and off the amplifier via the external I/O connections. When remotely powered off in this manner, the amplifier greatly reduced the AC power draw resulting in very little power demand when the amplifier is not in use.
